This CW series is probably the best that has been made this year. It should like win an Oscar or whatever else award they give out for the best TV show. But today, I found out that it was canceled. That was a humongous bummer. It was the first series that actually didn't have any Cinderella endings but actually had heartache and broken lives and reminded me that that is how life really is. Its UNEXPECTED! But with all of that it also shows a lot of true life experiences and the how the heart can be cold and loving at the same time. I feel like I can relate to the main character Lux in so many ways. ( But that I will tell you in my next post.. so Wait for it)

Lux, a sixteen year-old girl that is trying to make her life better is struggling with one foster home to another.She has finally decided to become an emancipated minor. During her journey through the legal maze, Lux finds her biological father, 30-something Nate "Baze" Bazile, who lives above a bar ( that he owns) and is surprised to learn that he has a daughter. Nate, unfortunately thought that Cate Cassidy (Lux's biological mother) took care of her unplanned pregnancy sixteen years ago. Lux also finds out that Cate runs her favourite morning show called Cate & Ryan on K-100. Ryan Thomas is Cate Cassidy's boyfriend. A judge decides to grant temporal custody of Lux to Baze and Cate instead of liberating her to live on her own.

The whole 2 seasons revolve mostly about Lux's troubles in finding that true family experience she always lacked. Oh and let me tell you this, the actors did a fantabulous way of showing the emotions and the life struggles that a lot of families go through nowadays. Just like in the opening song by Rain Perry ( Beautiful Tree )

P.s. Great news, I found out there will be a season finale for Season 2 on January 18th ( which is 2 days after my 19th Birthday). It will be 2hrs long! I can't wait personally. After that finale... The CW will decide the fate of the show. Dang it, I hope the ratings will be high this time. :)
